“Education is not nearly as costly as the conflicts and failures incurred because of lack of understanding of the co-op business model. High-performing leaders know the importance of equipping directors, employees and management with the knowledge to understand their respective roles and therefore, develop and lead their cooperative with a unified approach.”
Rod Kelsay, Executive Director, MACC
“Cooperative education is relevant to all employees of cooperatives. Every employee represents the cooperative to members and to the community. The impression the general public has of the cooperative will be based to a large degree on the quality of interaction with cooperative employees. It is important for every employee to know the basic facts about that cooperative and cooperatives in general.”
Dr. Bob Cohen
